2012 MAJOR CHANGE IN ALLOWABLE SOFTBALL BATS – CITY OF OXNARD
The City of Oxnard Recreation & Community Services, beginning in the 2011 Spring League, will ban ALL bats that are not of a single piece construction in the City of Oxnard Adult Softball program.
Please be aware that ANY bat that is labeled with multiple shells, multiple walls, compartments, sleeves, trampolined, matrixed, transfer molding, layers and/or chambers are not permitted within The Oxnard Adult Softball program. No bat may exceed 1.20 performance level. Again, all titanium, multiple wall, multiple piece bats are banned.
If you are not sure, please check with the league director or the umpire before using/unwrapping the bat. Any other bat not listed on the ASA approved bat list is not permitted within the City of Oxnard.
Players using a banned bat will be ejected from that game and the next league game. Refer to banned bat list for the latest updated information.
